I think it's a mostly fair swap that I modelled around the McDonagh trade. Most of the big-name D trades haven't netted what you are hoping for - they have either been one for one swaps (Subban/Webber, Josi/Johnsson) or picks and parts for a star (Karlsson to SJ).
I used McDonagh because I think he is a good comparable for Ekblad - 1st pair defensemen who isn't elite.
So, let me break down my though process.
To Tampa: JT Miller, Ryan McDonagh
To NYR: Vladislav Namestnikov, 2018 1st Round Pick (28th), 2019 2nd Round Pick (58th), D Libor Hajec (37th overall, 2016), F Brett Howden (27th Overall, 2016)
Let's say the 2nd round pick and Hajec were what it took to get JT Miller. That leaves us with Namestnikov, a 1st, and Howden.
So, in that case I'm giving you Nylander, a better 1st and Holl instead of Howden. Now, if you want sub Holl for someone else that isn't Sandin (Liljegren, Der-Arguchintsev, a different roster player) I think that's fair. Hell, if you wanted me to throw in another mid-rounnd pick on top of that I'd do that too.
But the history isn't there to support getting an "A" level prospect for a D-man in a package like this.
