Seems like a realistic summer

Description
If the young boys on defense, such as POJ and Maniscalco, can play now, Riikola can be moved for a late draft pick.
Minnesota seems like a very logical place for Murray to go.
McCann is given another shot to prove he can be the 3C option.

Definitely fair value for Riikola -- I think NSH is more interested in getting a RHD, but definitely an offer I think they'd consider.

Nothing realistic about the Wild trade. Two (almost) worthless pieces for 2 pieces with some value.

That Murray trade is ideal in my opinion. Sheds salary, gets a high pick back this year to soften the blow of losing #15, and gets back a nice bottom 6 piece. Hopefully JR sees it the same way.

I think its an ideal move as well. Minnesota gets what they need in a starter and a C. Bjugstad is a bit of a cap dump, but a fresh start in his hometown but be huge for him.

Thats one of the dumbest things I ever read on this site. You are trying to say 4th line/fringe 3rd liner Ryan Hartman is a valuable piece and Matt Murray is almost worthless?

The problem with the Murray trade is that I don’t believe the Wild will go after a goalie. I know they need one but I don’t see this as the time for them to give up assets for one. I think it’s a fair trade, Hartman is quality bottom 6 and Murray is a good option depending on how much he wants.

Matt Murray getting paid as a backup goalie has some value, but i cant see him accepting that kind of a contract...making him (ALMOST) worthless. I am a native Minnesotan and a life-long UofM Gopher hockey fan and even I can admit that Bjugstad is (ALMOST) worthless. As for the Wild’s assets in this trade, I said they have SOME value...meaning only slightly more than the Penguin pieces. Before you go off like a buffoon next time, please do one or two things: Reread the parts you don’t understand, and/or ask for clarification from the author. It just might save you the embarrassment of coming across as a complete dumba$$!
You’re welcome!

You tried your absolute best to make it seem like I misunderstood what you said, but you failed.... again. You referred to Matt Murray almost worthless, "Two (almost) worthless pieces" and I responded back using your exact words about murray "and Matt Murray is almost worthless?" You said about MIN players "for 2 pieces with some value." and I said about Hartman "Ryan Hartman is a valuable piece". Again, you look stupid. It just might save you the embarrassment of coming across as a complete dumba$$!..... I cant tell whats funnier, you inferring Hartman and more value than Murray, or you thinking you had something going on with the "oh you need to reread because you look like a buffoon" comeback lmao

Nope, I understand your point fairly easy. Keep trying the "cant comprehend" comments though. It didnt work the 1st or 2nd time, but eventually it might

Minnesota doesn't need another body at goalie & the Hartman - Bjugstad swap is unnecessary. Trading away 1 of the team's 2 RSW wings is stupid. Especially when you consider the fact that it's very possible that Bjugstad would just end up in the exact same spot.

Overall, it's not a nice Minnesota even needs to consider unless they are robbing Pittsburgh, they just simply aren't doing so with this deal. If anything, the value is Pittsburgh's favour. That's just not worth it for Minnesota as they want PIT to be as bad as possible next year. Helping them clear cap is counterintuitive

Pretty weird how they didn't give up a 2nd or Hartman to do it.
Pretty weird how what they gave up is a conditional 7th round pick, with retention from Pittsburgh.

Yeah, still seems like "almost worthless" is an apt description.

Pretty weird how I never mentioned either of those players.
Pretty weird how majority on this site said he was a injury prone cap dump that JR would have to pay to get rid of.
So why did MIN trade for that "almost worthless" player? Pipe down. Theres nothing you can say at this point
