Roy sucks and there's a chance he doesn't even get qualified, he was getting scratched at AHL level this season and even played some time at RW just to get him into games. So we are not trading both our NHL level RD without getting at least one back in the trades.
If any of our NHL D get moved I think it will be Simek, but probably not until the deadline or next offseason

We are NOT trading EK65, EK9 & Burns (especially not at 3.5m retained). All 3 will likely be on the roster through the expansion draft, after that who knows.

Seems like a great way to be terrible forever, pay? To move Karlsson and Burns (which is just dumb), and move our 2021 1st so we have no RD and are guaranteed the last spot in the league, that isn't even considering everything else here.

This makes no sense. This team is certainly worse than it would be if you didn't make any trades, and you've also given up your future by moving several draft picks away. If you're trying to win now, pick up strong players, spend to the cap, and don't worry about losing a draft pick or two. If you want to rebuild, trade resources that you can actually get a return for, not assets you need to pay other teams to take.

Burns does not have a NMC, he has a M-NTC, only NMC must be protected.

We are trying to make the team worse because the sharks are entering a rebuild and should trade away bad contracts and start getting prospects and picks.

The whole point is to start to go into a rebuild.

wow 1 1/2 months later. You can't rebuild if you don't have any picks. And you don't go into a rebuild by getting rid of all your picks to ship off players with tons of retention (which is idiotic) whose contracts will be up or nearly over by the time you are ready to compete.

Then they have lots of cap space and since they we'll be horrendous they will get great picks in the draft, as for trading picks to get rid of Burns and Karlsson, thats is what it's going to take to get rid of them. Also, if its bad that I am still posting here 1 1/2 months later, why'd you respond?
