That VGK deal is pretty bad for them. That Detroit trade is good if Shaw can pass medicals.

Yes, Kapanen is NOT worth a first round pick, but I don't feel like you gave up too much more. Guess it depends how you feel about Hallander, personally I'm not a big believer but I know others are.
All that aside, Kapanen will be GREAT in your top 6. I'm guessing Pittsburgh wants to take one more shot at the cup before actually blowing it up...?? I don't know.

All that aside, Pittsburgh making a trade you hate doesn't mean other teams will follow suit. Haha.

Haha I hear ya. I don't know how we only gave up Erod, Hallander, and Warsofsky for Kapanen. the 1st rounder is nuts tho
