I don't see the Leafs making lateral moves and giving up higher draft picks. Leafs will be making more trades to create cap flexibility and will try moving a forward for a defensemen, that's it.

Even with the picks balanced it doesnt really do a lot for the leafs. It strengthens a strength and leaves the weaknesses weak

Forwards who refuse to play defence and don't rise to the occasion are a weakness and Kap is one of the worst offenders

I think it helps, Rust has come up big in the playoffs, we need a couple of those foot soldiers who can do that.
