I think its a trash mentality to think that you cant have an educated opinion about another franchise if you arent a "fan" of them.

They should hold on from trading for a 1C the way Kotkat and Suzuki have been playing. Neither are guaranteed to be #1C, I'd bet on Suzuki being 1C and Kotkat being 2C. If in a few years its clear that they still need a top guy, worry then

2 1C's is a stretch, but yes, wait a few years to see what Suzuki and Kotkatniemi really are and then make a move if necessary

I was responding to the guys that thought he was a Habs fan, letting them know that the thread starter may not be familiar with what the Habs needs actually are and that Habs fans are happy with Suzuki and Kotkaniemi as 1A and 1B options. Perhaps you shouldn't jump to conclusions and start BS without first reading the entire thread and UNDERSTANDING it first.

potential 1A and 1B options. Far from solidified yet. You still may need a 1A option at some point, but what I'm saying is that it would be smart to wait a couple of years to see what you have in KK and Suzuki before going out and trying to get a center
