Hilariously, rumors are that Dorion is putting together a package that includes 2 of 3 firsts (#3 & #5). I hate this. I'd rather the NYI pick.

Taking on two cap dumps and a potential starter in exchange for a top 6 forward who's had success already in NY, a potential 2C, a promising prospect, #5 overall and a pick in the range of 20-25 overall.

Question is, would you rather trade #1 overall to rid yourself of two bad contracts? Or would you rather trade the guys that need an extension I.E. Deangelo, Strome, etc....

My opinion: I hate this as an Ottawa Senators fan. Believe me when I say I don't think the Rangers will part with the pick nor will Ottawa trade #3 and 5... I can see Eugene's crummy little hands on this deal...

Rumors are rumors, though. So it'll be interesting to see if they come to fruition. Does this deal make both teams better?
