You forgot Colorado, adding to their extremely skilled young cup contending core and MAKAR, they have yet to debut Bowen Byram the best D prospect from 2019, Alex Newhook, Beaucage, and Bowers

Capitals had the 2nd worst rated p pool and we have Mcmichael Protas Alexeyev and Fehervary As our top 4. 🤷🏻‍♂️

People keep saying that LA does, but with two top 5 picks, Ottawa's gotta really mess this up to not have the best prospect pool in the league after this coming draft. Plus their 500 other picks in the first two rounds this year

OTT doesn't have a prospect pool.
Those are their NHL players who should be in the lineup already because they suck.

Would people rather have Byfield and Drysdale or Newhook and Byram?

Idk what you’re talking about, Bernard Docker and Pinto are still in College, Thomson just played a year in Finland, Formenton and Norris just finished amazing 1st years in the AHL, Batherson is going to play top 6 for this team now, Logan Brown I don’t think is a prospect anymore, it’s a make or break year for him. Brannstrom is still young and will be on this team this year.

How do you compare Byram and Drysdale, Drysdale is more offence like Quinn Hughes while Byram is a shut down D like Ryan Suter

I’m a North Dakota fan, so I’ll give you my 2-cents on a few of these guys.

JBD will have to make some strides. He hasn’t underwhelmed at the college level, but he will have to become more confident in moving the puck to get to the next level.

Tychonick looked kind of lost at times. Couldn’t find a great role at North Dakota and is transferring. Needs to work on his board play. I wouldn’t be mega surprised if he does not make it to the NHL.

Pinto is looking like a steal from the 2019 draft. If he stuck around past the upcoming season (which I doubt he will), he’d be a captain. Works hard, rock solid at the face off dot, and talented. I think his floor is a bottom 6 forward.

I still believe in Wolanin, but don’t know if he’s true NHL material. Skates well and can move the puck, but doesn’t quite have the speed to control the game.

That’s not a bad comp. I’d say I see a bit of Thomas Hickey. Reliable and smooth, may take a couple years of professional speed to get to the NHL, but his ability to move the puck will determine his level of success.

I’m hoping he becomes Pesce to pair with Chabot. Pesce is exactly what we need next to Chabot
