Leafs laugh you outta the league with any Nylander for Pesce deal.. welcome to Hall for Larson 2.0 & something that Canes fans need to get through their heads.. Pesce is not worth Nylander.

Anaheim deal isn't enough for both of Rakell and Manson. Plus Leafs don't need Rakell.

& both teams say no to the Nashville deal. That's nowhere close to value for Andersen and the Preds don't need goaltending.

Just gonna leave the fact Pesce has a bigger impact on the game than Nylander does here, and let Leaf fans go nuts. Nylander for Pesce is 100% fair, and it's something leaf fans need to accept.

Alright, the value may be off for the Anaheim trade, but idrc. The idea is to pick up another top 9 winger and 2 birds 1 stone.

Nashville do also need goaltending, I encourage you to look up Rinne and Saros' stats.

I agree on the Pesce for Nylander deal, but it ain't gonna happen.

The value is very off on the Ducks trade. When you're the team trading the two most valuable assets in the trade, and you're getting absolutely nothing that potentially fills the holes on your team, there's a 100% chance that you lose that deal.

The Freddy deal makes no sense. The Preds *should* be looking for an upgrade in net, but they won't because there's no point buying out Rinne (it won't save them a cent), and selling that low on Saros would be foolish. Gotta cross their fingers and hope for a bounce back.

Saros had a .914sv% in 40 games played this year, is younger and cheaper than Andersen. Plus he doesn't cost Nashville anything to get. I suggest you look up your facts before you make statements like that..

I suggest you look at his stats from the past few years there buddy. I also encourage you to look at his analytics and his defene before reciting to me that a middle of the pack save percentage is good.

Rinne has one more season left and Saros is 25 had a better SV%, GAA and more shutouts than Freddy. Preds also have Connor Ingram developing in minors for when Rinne retires.

That being said, Austin Watson and a conditional 2nd is terrible value for Anderson. Watson is not a competent NHLer, Leafs should find a greater return

Past few years means nothing if he's trending upwards.. goalies develop later. Nashville is better off spending $1.5M on Saros than $5M in Andersen especially when Saros doesn't cost anything to get. Analytics is nice and all, but the bottom line is he stopped 91.4% of the shots he faced. Preds can use the extra cap space in other areas needed to improve instead of having 3 NHL roster goalies costing $11.5M.. I also encourage you to use some common sense before making statements.

Edit: also, Saros' last 3 seasons:
.925sv% in 26 games
.915sv% in 31 games
.914sv% in 40 games

So his workload has gone up and he's maintained a starting goalie's save percentage. So yeah, I think the Preds are fine in net. Throw out all the analytics you want, at the end of the day he stops more pucks than the average goalie in a league where scoring is on the rise. No reason for the Preds to add another goalie right now

You're using 26 games, 31 games and 40 games sample sizes, and in those sample sizes he's been saved by his defence more than he saves them.... say what you want, they need help in net. The second any of Ellis, Ekholm or Josi are hurt, they're screwed cause their goalie ain't good enough

I think you need to learn a bit more.. as I said, goalies always develop later. Mainly due to reflexes taking time to fully develop. The amount of games played is a trend upwards while still maintaining an above average save percentage for a starting goalie in a league where scoring is trending up. Of course if any one of any teams top 3 d-man go down the goalies numbers usually take a hit.. you wanna use Andersen as the comparison? Look what happened when Rielly and Muzzin were. No offence but that line about any of them going out was probably the dumbest I've ever heard.

Difference is, Andersen performes well without his defenders, because he doesn't have defenders. His dFSv% is trending down, but it's still a significant upgrade on Rinne or Saros. His GSAA is absolutely tanking this year, but for the 3 year sample previous, he is miles better (that's 2016-2019)
