Hawks won't draft Askarov at #10. If hawks beat Edmonton and get #15 or #16 then by all means, otherwise they grab someone who can impact the team next year to 2 years like Lundell.

Obviously they lose the chance at the lottery pick of Lafraniere, but they would drop to pick #16 which would likely put them in Seth Jarvis, Connor Zary, Holloway, Mercer, Lapierre for forwards range, and Kaiden Guhle for LD. Their 39th pick would also drop to likely 47th - so I would like them to give the penguins a run for the experience but drop the series for the longer term gain.
