Hell NO to both trades! Danault + Fleury or Drouin + Fleury + 4th is the max. I would pay for PLD not that he isn't that good but because Danault and Drouin are better than this offer suggests.

I think you might be a tad blinded about the ability of some players. Drouin hasn't proven he can be a top line winger yet. Fleury is expendable due to the fact you have Weber and Petry plus Brook and Juulsen at a similar point in their careers/skill level. Danualt is a good number 2 center, he isn't a number one. He was there by default playing for the habs. So how I see it is a number 2 LW, Number 2 C and 3rd pairing RD for a number one C. You have to pay to get PLB.

And Ghost is better than you think. Down year because of injuries but Kulak is a 3LD and shows no offense and Tatar is good but not as good as you think. He excels on a line with two puck control, win the battles type of guys in Gallagher and Danault. The habs need a #1 pp QB defenseman and Ghost can fill that role

Danault is a Selke trophy nominee and is very very underrated cause he doesn't put up big numbers like some of the other nominees. Drouin is showing this year that he is capable of being a 1st line winger and Fleury is indeed a bottom 4 D man. But like I said you do not need both Drouin and Danault in that trade only 1 + Fleury + 4th or just don't make the trade. We are not desperate for a 1C as we were 2 or 3 years ago no need to tear apart the team.

As for Gostisbehere same thing goes here we don't NEED a top 4 LHD like we have in years past. If Gostisbehere was a top pairing guy who could play 25+ minutes a night and be as solid defensively as he is offensively then this would be a different conversation. We need but are not desperate for a top LHD someone like Krug, Dunn or Brodin but we may already have that guy in one of Romanov, Norlinder, Harris or Struble so why pay a kings ransom for it?

You're 100% wrong on Drouin. He is not a 1LW. He has shown no flashes of being a number one. Decent number 2 but not even close to being a number one. Danault is an excellent defensive center, but he isn't a number one center.

And yes the habs have legit 3 stud prospects at LD. But Romanov is the only one that could/will make an impact over the next three seasons. And Tatar is a Kings Randsom? He was a throw in in the patches trade and is a ufa after 2021. Kulak is essentially nothing in my eyes.

Tatar is a very good 1st line left wing who may have been a throw in in the Patches trade but just a year before it cost Vegas a 1st + 2nd + 3rd to acquire him from Detroit. The guy is a goal scorer and is top 3 on the team in points!

Kulak is worth a 3rd or 4th so not much value there but just go back through some of the AGM's and check out what players like Danault, Drouin, Tatar are worth to other teams.

I have seen many Drouin 1 for 1 trades with Dallas or Brodin from Minnesota for Drouin + 3rd

I have seen a few Tatar for Nurse trades as well as Graves + Beaucage + 2021 2nd trades by Avs and Oilers fans

So no I am not over valuing them your under valuing them severely

Dream is right. Columbus doesn’t even consider this as a trade for PLD. We don’t need a wing or even want Drouin as he and torts would be awful together.

No, I'm realistic on what my team actually is. See above, a Columbus fan literally said no way lol. Ypu forget where the habs are right now. There is a reason why Tatar and Danault are on the top line, and its only because they are on the habs. Tatar is a nice piece but is a 20 goal scorer not a 30.

It's not like PLD lit up the league this year. I think maybe add a 2and or 3rd round pick but this is equal in value. Whether or not they accept is another question.

Columbus needs a 2nd line center.. we aren’t trading a center to get another center. That defeats the purpose of trying to get another center.

I did not say PLD is not worth the package I said I wouldn't give up that package for him. The reason I wouldn't is cause it pretty much guts our team for 1 player. Just like any trade involving McDavid, Eichel or Crosby. It sets the team too far back!

Guts our team? Fleury is replaceable with either Juulsen or Brook and Drouin is replaced by Domi. Look at my line up bud. Drouin is overrated
