Flames need a lot more. Love how everyone assumes Gaudreau is going to sign at a certain place and that everyone then values a perennial elite player at 2 years is worth next to nothing. A lot can happen in 2 years and value for a player like gaudreau is going to be high regardless of how many years he has left

I don't know why it's suddenly a foregone conclusion Gaudreau is leaving, at this present moment it'll take a LOT to pry him out of Calgary. Like if you're not offering 1sts or a viable replacement, forget it. According to fans everyone is always going sign in their hometown until they don't a la Steven Stamkos. Tavares was the exception not the rule.

Wasn't my thread and I wasn't the one suggesting one more pick. I just agreed and suggested that it should only be a third as others stated further up it would only be for 2 years. You cannot fault me for taking advantage of the situation, you would if I suggested we trade KK for like 5th + 7th.

Oh I do, I know how Domi is valued. I myself value him quite high but only because I feel like he is more like the player of last season than this year. I hope we keep him over trading him but I think it will more than likely come down to Domi or Tatar and Management likes Tatar more right now so we may as well get what we can for him.
