1. Flames don't want Risto, it's been explained on here a few times now. They explored it, and the fancy stats guy shot it down. (as per Brian Burke)
2. Flames aren't trading Lindholm. He's their only top 6 forward that shoots right and he's signed to a bargain deal. Even if they did a rebuild/retool they probably keep him.

I love Cirelli but he is not quite worth 7 mil a year along with our entire 2021 draft.

To add insult to injury though you trade Montour for practically nothing, somehow gain by trading Hutton and make a highly questionable trade with Calgary to boot.

How is his value a 3rd round pick exactly? He was worth a 1st and Guhle just over a year ago and while he wasn't amazing this year he also was playing his offside most of the year.
If you can only get a 3rd for him you sign him under 4mil per otherwise you are merely throwing away an asset.

Mittelstadt is mostly a bust, it was mistake for Sabres to draft him.
Ristolainen, no one wants him tbh and certainly not at this value.
