Moves look like a good foundation, Bertuzzi extension maybe looks a little high. I'd prefer a 3.5x3. He's great on the MLB line, but Zadina, and future draft picks will probably take his spot on the top line. I could see him dropping to the 3rd line.
I can't see Eriksson waiving without an NHL roster spot, but if Ras and Smith stay in the AHL until the deadline, and Hirose, Timashov etc rotate as scratches while Eriksson plays on the 3rd line that would work.
If we put Zetterberg on LTIR we still have over 10mil of cap for another deal or two. I would love another 1st in 2020.

I don’t see what’s in it for the Blues, they could easily trade Allen to one of 15 other teams for like a 4th round pick and then sign a cheap goalie or bring in Husso/Hofer and keep their pick.

I cant see st louis paying that high a price to move allen. He is overpaid but hes an NHL goalie and a good backup option. I wouldnt mind taking him and bozak for maybe a couple pics. Probably could flip them both cone trade deadline.

Problem with flat cap is there are not 15 teams that can take on his cap hit and field a team without trading cap hit to other teams

It would make a bit more sense for STL to trade Steen with a first attached for like a third. They then can flip Allen or Bozak for a mid to late round pick. If they wanted to sign AP.

There’ll be a team, probably a rebuilder. Trade a 4th round pick for him now and then retain 50% at the deadline for a 2nd round pick. Profit

In my mind it would be ideal if BLM stays productive together and Zadina establishes some chemistry with another line. I think it's best to have a top 6 where both lines are threatening.

I'd be okay with rotating guys in and out of the lineup, just want to give the young guns as much a chance as possible when they show they deserve it

What about Steen, Allen and the 1st for Bernier @50%. That gives St. Louis a solid goaltending tandem, money to sign Pietrangelo and possibly another piece if they feel like they can make another deep run.

Lol funny thing about Anaheim is it starts with an A so it's the first on the ol' drop down menu

That fact is the bane of my CapFriendly existence. I have to check every team post featuring the Anaheim icon in the "Trades" column and of course half of them turn out to be "to any team" or "compliance buy-out"
