The proposal I saw the kings accepting for Roy+Lizotte was Kapenan + SDA. I dont see them taking your offer
As for that severson deal, hard pass. If we bring in Roy we have no need for Severson and the amount of assets we are giving up will come back to haunt us.
Also u forgot Lehtonen and Barbanov.

Roy is not a top 4 defender that's what amazes me most about these Roy to Toronto trades.

I was thinking put him with Muzzin as anybody can become a top 4 with him, Move Dermott to be with Rielly, and Holl can play with Lehtonen or vice versa.

Lol Severson for scraps, NJ doesn't even consider this.

It's fascinating seeing how people have such different opinions. I've seen people (none leaf fans) say that its an overpayment for Severson. I myself am somewhere in the middle. I agree that I'm not sure its enough but I don't think its as far off as you may think.

I'm amused that this trade has the upgraded pick going from LA to Toronto instead of the other direction.
