Why would Detroit make that trade? We don't need RD right now Bouchard would be our bottom pairing RD both Hronek and Seider in the top 4. We can just draft Jamie Drysdale he's going to be way better then Evan Bouchard anyways.

Ok IMO u could just throw Bouchard on the left side but i am not a red wings fan nor do I follow them closely so I was just guessing a decent return for mantha. also most of this is based off of NHL 20 trade value so...

Yup, Bouchard fills a longstanding need on the Oilers blue line. And Edmonton has their own "Mantha" anyways: Raphael Lavoie. He won't arrive for another year but he projects to be a similar type of player.

I also don’t understand the fascination on getting a guy like that to play with mcdavid. I think we have seen skilled guys in that spot enough to know spending assets and much needed cap space is kinda a huge waste. Hall, ebs neither of them was any better than maroon in that spot. I think for a guy like Conner that always has the puck he just needs a couple utility guys like kassain that can assist in getting him the puck and can crash the net.
