Even if Lafreniere is Better than Brady, they aren't that much better off overall because they would be losing their best forward. Makes no sense

1 player is not worth the 1OA. Ottawa would have to give up alot and it wont help their rebuild. They can use the 3rd and 5th get 2 good players and be ready in 2-3 years for playoffs.

Let's be completely honest here, CALGARY is not making that trade. I don't think they'd hang up on us, but they'd certainly be asking for more. And I'd oddly be mad at Ottawa for doing it anyway.

Tkachuk is the only piece that I thought could work without giving up 3/5. CGY would love the marketing alone from both Tkachuk brothers, so I believe they would value him even more than what Brady quantifiably brings to the table.

Theres a market efficiency here but this just a thought experiment, I know a lot of Sens fans are touchy over Brady

I would trade Brady + (Anyone not named Chabot/Brannstrom/Batherson/Norris, 3rd/5th). Not a popular choice, and Brady is great but Lafreniere is incredible.
