There is no way BUF trades Eichel and both OTT and SJS 1st rd picks don’t go the other way. Also what are the odds Melnyk gives up young (read cheap contracts) for an expensive one.

Eichel is a sick hockey player, but I don't want him anywhere near the sens. No chance am I giving up that kind of haul for him.

This would be an awful trade for Ottawa. I think Eichel is awesome but why not just stay the course? Too many young assets in this package. The fact is, you need the cheap young players to create a well balanced and competitive team!

I’d do the SJS pick (5th let’s say) and Brown for Eichel but no way am I including Branstrom
