Grubauer wasn’t the reason they lost to San Jose, so I don’t see it. Your contracts are a wreck, you underpaid Burakovsky and Graves, you gave Jost an extra year not needed, and why in the world would you sign Perry and Nieto and scratch Nichushkin and in the process block Kaut and Bowers more?

Philip has been on and off sometimes he acts like a #1, othertimes he looks like he is lost. Still the team should keep him till he is a ufa.

If they could pull that off take that in a heart beat top 3 goalie in the league imo pretty big price to pay but huge win for both teams I’d think.

It really helps Anaheim with their rebuild, and bolsters up Colorado during their push for the cup, which they are almost at that true contender spot. Get a goalie like Gibson and they winning it

There some better option on the market this summer if they absolutely want a goalie. Lehner could be a nice addition considering is age and the potential cuo window that Colorado is entering.

Zadorov, Nikita 2 $3,300,000.... He'll get more term on his next deal as we/or whoever trades for him will want to buy some UFA years.
Graves, Ryan 2 $950,000 ....... try tripling it
Burakovsky, André 3 $3,400,000....... add $1.5m
Jost, Tyson 2 $950,000 .... double it
Murray, Matt 3 $4,200,000 .... Grubauer/Francouz were top 5 in the league as a tandem. No need to mess with it.
Nichushkin, Valeri 1 $900,000 .... double it, at least, and add a year or two.
Perry, Corey 2 $1,250,000 ...... why in the world would we sign him. We're much better off playing Kaut.

i agree with pretty much all this but there is over $7m in cap space that should cover the shortfalls in the contracts. bowers wasn't going to make the 20-21' team anyway.

Not to start, but he will get a shot. That doesn’t happen signing a bunch of guys they honestly don’t need.

Whats wrong with Francouz and Grubauer? Seems like a very good and cost effective tandem to me. Matt Murray was terrible this year so idk how you think hes an upgrade
