Absolute trash. I want Savard.

I like Nuttivaara. He’s a solid top 4 LHD who can ply both sides. Because of the depth in Columbus he ends up and the 5th d behind; Jones, Werenski, Savard and Gavrikov. He’s also on a good contract.

Toronto would have an easier time acquiring Savard then Nuttivaara.

It’s just a cryin shame that your myopic management group built up the Leaf’s offensive talent at the expense of your defence.

Answering the question, Nutivaara is a few years younger than Savard, can play either side very adeptly, makes less money, and speaks Finnish rather than French. Jackets would probably not part with either Savard or Nuti. The emergence of Peeke though will probably make Savard expendable soon after his contract expires.

I dont think hes been good for a while now, he used to be my favorite player. He had a bad 2nd half of 18-19 and this past season was brutal for him. We had 8 defensemen who performed better than him this year. Also, I dont think Torts likes him. Hes been healthy scratched a few times since his performance started declining and every time when asked about it, torts has made some comment that implies hes very frustrated with him. We all know Torts biggest pet peeve (aside from larry brooks) is when players underperform. I think Nuti is gone this off season, we could still get good value because he absolutely can bounce back to being a top 4 guy.
