Créé par: cbalzer28

Description
Dylan Larkin Demands a trade while Detroit has to rebuild. Signing Larkin makes Strome Expendable and use him to recoup some assets lost in trade for Larkin. If more is needed in trade could swap Robertson for Hajek. I know this is a dream scenario!

laugh laugh Not for scraps he isn't once again Andersson is trash Hajek hasn't proven a thing would love Georgiev in a Wings jersey but not for that. Those scraps aren't getting you Larkin #1-#2C None of those pieces do Detroit any good other then maybe Georgiev.

You should get a better return for Strome. Winnipeg could give you Jack and second and Niku.

Pass on Strome, he's a product of Panarin. Also why would Larkin demand a trade? He's playing for his childhood team and is the favorite to be their next captain. He's 23yr old and the face of the franchise, he's not requesting a trade.

He was just on one of the worst teams in NHL history and as the Rangers have shown it will be a solid 3-4 years to do a rebuild right again. Does Larkin want to wait until he is 26 to be in the playoffs again? Its just a thought and like I said it was a dream scenario.

Funny because in an interview not to long ago, Dylan Larkin said that it would be his dream to spend his entire career with his childhood team.

Dude at least try and make an honest attempt for Larkin, I mean that trash you proposed and outside of Georgiev it is trash. Is nowhere even remotely near enough for Larkin.

So they have one bad season and the kid will jump ship? BTW that also means they have a good shot at getting a talent like Alexis Lafreniere in the draft. I'm sure Larkin would love to have a kid like that on his wing.

I would disagree that a lottery pick in arguably the best draft in a decade is scraps...Georgiev would be the goalie of your future...which they clearly need. On top of that another 1st and Hajek is a bottom pair NHL defender. If you think Andersson is a bust at age 20 thats fine but I think the term bust is premature on him. But swap Hajek for Robertson/Zac Jones and Andersson for Howden/henrickson. These are the things you need for a rebuild. I think that would be a haul.

However I did preface this with I know its a dream scenario so lets relax I'm just having some fun.

i wouldnt bother
its like Leafs fans with Sundin , even after he was traded they swore they'd never trade him .

you could offer them 4 firsts and a top Center they'll still say no and act like its nothing .
Its the definition of Stupid . i mean its one thing to drive up his value but DET fans actually believe it

Larkins good but his value holds no more or less then Tyler Seguins held when he was traded
Pretending otherwise shows how far from reality these people live choosing to ignore trade history and facts in favor of opinion.

One bad season? they have been a bottom 6 team 3 years straight now. And You have to win the lottery first for Lafreniere. Its a 2-3 year rebuild still to come at least...But like I said I dont know what Larkin is thinking but I was having fun and using some common sense if they want to begin this rebuild, this would be a way to do it.

Yeah sorry Andersson to me has bust written all over him And i find it funny that the Rangers moved up to draft him and now it's looking like he has no future there. And Hajek is a bottom pairing LD that Detroit has tons of in their organization. Yeah i like Georgiev and he could do wonders for us. But once again these have little to no value for us. Like i stated in a previous pieces you've obviously not even remotely considered this through you pretty much just tossed us scraps and included Georgiev in the deal. Yzerman would laugh at this joke of a proposal. As far as your potential lottery pick yeah pretty sure that's top 3 protected. So yeah not even remotely close for Larkin.

Of Strome's 41 ES points, Panarin has factored into 54% of them. At all strengths it goes up slightly to 55% of Strome's production. A career sub-40pt center that all of the sudden blows up the same year he gets put with one of the top offensive threats in the league and people can't put two and two together lol.

Strome P/GP pre Panarin - 0.46
Strome P/GP with Panarin - 0.84

I mean if someone is dumb enough to cough up assets then that is great for the Rangers. The team acquiring will be mightily disappointed though when Strome goes back to being a sub-40pt center.

So starting the rebuild involves trading a 23yr old center that over the last 3 years has a P/GP that bring him around 63pts a year? Guess we have a difference in opinion on how to approach a rebuild.

I agree. The thing I don't understand is why trade Strome? Panairn and him obviously have chemistry and Strome went from a 30 point player to a 60+ point player it makes a lot more sense to ride that until the wheels fall off.

Boston will need center depth with Krejci getting older and are built to win now, and is it really that much? Fredrick is a bottom six player maybe and I was deciding between a 2nd or 3rd rd pick so I guess make it a third. Didnt really matter for this.

It's all a cap space thing, if I can get a better 2C than strome like Larkin than I will have to move on from Strome with what he is going to cost.

They have Coyle at #3C now (could move to #2 when Krejci calls it a career) and Studnicka is expected to make the jump next season. They also have Frederic who would make a solid big #3C or LW that does a little bit over everything. That's not even taking into consideration Beecher who was their 1st rounder last year or Curtis Hall who was a top 50 P/GP player in NCAA this past season and played for team USA at the U-20's. Almost forgot JFK, whose currently playing in Sweden. If/when he comes back, he was playing as a #3C for Boston early on last year.
