So Zadorov isnt worth a 2nd because apparently hes a bottom pair D, but Mete + a 5th is worth Appleton + 2nd? ok mr bbq

I'd take Zadorov for that 2nd rounder but that would be after exhausting other options first as I think the Habs need more of a two way dman than a complete shutdown one in Zadorov.

And the fact that mete is a lot younger, under team control for next 5 season and a lot cheaper on the cap make him a valuable pieces. Just like Coleman or Goodrow. For a team who need good players on cheap contract.

Zadorov have only two year remaining before hitting the free agency market and will want to get paid. Even next season he will have to make at least 3,2 millions who is way to much money.

Not sure if I would add $10 million in salary if I’m Colorado. They’re building a great team and have lots the right pieces for a bright future but all these good players are gonna need to get paid at some point so don’t just use that cap space because you have it now, and risk having to trade someone down the road because you don’t have the space to keep them.

Try more like 7 x 10 for Hall, He's not taking no short term deal.
