That's your opinion, Gorton isn't dealing Trouba to a team that he wont play for. Regardless of his NMC not kicking in yet. Then any other RFA the Rangers might acquire will worry about being dealt before their NMCs kick in if they've one.

It’s not my opinion and I agree he won’t get traded to a team he won’t play for. The rangers should trade him, but I don’t think they will.

....Most people don't want to play in Edmonton, Winnipeg, Ottawa, etc. That doesn't really matter if the player can't stop you.

Tbh, he's on the "1st line" because of player type (a line of Panarin + volume passer + net front player) has been shown to work. I like Domi. Not sure why you don't think this is a fair trade.

Strome is a better defender and can PK. Domi is a better passer sure. They're pretty close in value though. It's a fair trade especially with the Hajek for Kulak component...

Great because we wont trade him for that... Saying that Strome is as great as Domi is completely delusional. Hes a 45-50pts player MAX (his stats were inflated because of Panarin) and Max Domi while playing most of the year with guys like Weal and Lehkonen had a great production in a bad year.

Paying Strome 5m as a reliable 2/3c us acceptable. Paying Domi anything over 6m is suicide. By all means, sign away...
