Marner is a franchise player and more valuable team player than Laine so Leafs never agree to this deal.

Keep Ehlers and trade him for a defenseman. All you did here was just make our offense better :V

As a jets fan I don't do the trade, Laine has improved a lot this year (I was very anti Laine last year) and will be more cap frendly when his contract is up. The problem I find with Marner is that hes too small of a player and cant play physical in the playoffs. Laine has that size and physicality for the playoffs

Yup, laine is pretty streaky but I think he's started to play a little defence and pay attention to what he's doing away from the puck. If he plays s two way game and caps out at 35 goals a season you've got a great player

Laine's the best player in the 1st trade and Marner is the 2nd best, Ehlers is the 3rd best and Kerfoot is the 5th. The 4th best spot is being reserved for whatever Toronto adds
