You realize Tampa is in a massive cap crunch next year and already have 3 top 4 LD in Hedman, McDonagh, and Sergachev (all of which are arguably better than Ghost). Why would they trade for a contract with 3 more years on it after this at 4.5M?

You beat me to it. In addition we have Shattenkirk so Ghost would fall to #4 on the power play options. But we could trade Gourde for Ghost. Makes as much sense as his trade.

That Manson deal is whole lot of quantity over quality. JO was drafted high, but injuries have hindered his development. The rest is just “meh”. It’s a pass for me.

Nsh deal is again just quantity over quality, they will pass. Jarnkrok is decent and affordable it will take a lot more
