Not in nearly the same way. Subban talked like he was the heart of Montreal, Gallagher plays like he is the heart of Montreal and the fans know it and love him even more for it

he has health issues and wouldn't get one 1st at this point.

Take it from a Flames fan - we had the same attitude with Iginla and in hind sight we held on to him far too long and it set us back 3-4 years in terms of potential rebuild. We held him and he was able to keep us constantly in the middle of the pack - not good enough to make the playoffs and too good to get any high picks.

Some times the hard decisions are the right ones! If I were a Canadiens fan I would seriously consider shopping him!
