how is Labanc defensive game? i haven't seen him play a lot and everything i read about him is about his great playmaking ability. i read a lot of good things about him except nothing mentions his off the puck and defensive game. why would you want to trade a young forward like him? expecting him to be a lot to re-sign?

Hes not good away from the puck. Mainly for Georg, the sharks really could use a young goalie who can be a starter, but hopefully salvaging Andersson would be good too. Personally I wouldnt want to trade Labanc, but I think thats what it might take as we dont have any other forward that should be moved.

i'm very interested in Labanc but the rangers have so many forwards now that don't play defense. idk y Labanc signed for only 1 mill, he should fire his agent lol.
