Description
Interesting to see how Vegas could have shaped out if they pulled the trigger on a Karlsson trade at 17/18 deadline and went for Tavares in free agency

(I’m aware it’s over salary cap I put a lot of work into this I don’t want to redo)

If Tavares were traded to VGK (i'm aware you signed him) then he most likely wouldn't waive NMC

Tavares mind was already made before even finishing the season with the islanders. He wanted to sign with toronto he wouldn’t have sign extension with you either

Thats not true. He was debating up until the first. Actually was leaning San Jose for a few days.

They are better now. Arguable the best top 6 in the league. You don't want Karlsson btw. They just need a solid two way or offensive dman on their blueline. Maybe Barrie or Shattenkirk this offseason

He was in san jose only to make a bid war. Tavares have stated a long time ago that he wanted to play in toronto and refuse better offer to join them. No offense to san jose but they never really had a chance.

The best top 6 ?? Toronto, Winnipeg, Washington, tampa bay, boston, carolina, florida, Colorado those team are loaded with high end forward not sure how can they be arguably the best top 6. Toronto have tavares, mathews, marner , nylander, kapanen and johnsson. Washington ovy, backstrom, vrana, oshie, kuznetzov, wilson. Winnipeg connor, scheiffele, laine, wheeler, little elhers.
    Those team are stacked

Insiders have said that tavares hd a meeting in La with the list of team he was interested in. He finally had three team on is final list islanders, san jose and toronto. And islanders where offerim him 12,5 millions/8 years, san jose if i am not mistaken where offering 11,5/7years. If he was really interested in either of those team he would have chose them over toronto. He just started a bid war so toronto had to pull a few more bucks from their pocket.

No, the sharks offered 13 is what Bob said. The most of any team, but he went with his hometown

I said arguably for a reason.
    Pacioretty Stastny Stone
    Marchessault Karlsson Smith

Winnipeg doesn't even have a true 2C you moron. Boston doesn't have a true top 6 RW other than Pasta. Colorado has a 2nd line of players that were 3rd liners last year. I'd say Vegas is right up there with Caps Tampa and Toronto as far as top 6 on paper.

As vegas as 2 number 2 center in karlsson and stastny. And by the way wheeler is playing center since little is out and have been doiing better then both of your center. So again you should think about responding to people without any knowledge.

Karlsson is the most solid offensive D there is. The only problem is his cap hit

The sharks offered Tavares 13 mil. That still didn’t make him wanna come there. He had is eye on Toronto.

They dodged a huge bullet not landing E.Karlsson. Thanks to Dorion and his spite over Methot, he didn't want to trade with Vegas until he realized giving them Stone was in his best interests.

Karlsson just hasn't been the same after injuries. Certainly not worth over 10m. That contract will age like milk.

I am aware, he is only playing center because they have no other top 6 centerman… 2 number 2 centers? How do YOU define number 2 centers? Lmao, this should be good.

    All team
In the league doesn’t have a true first line center. A first line center put a point per game play 19-20 + minutes a night. Can play pk, pp, end of game. Make their winger produce no mather who they are.

So vegas doesn’t have a true number one center. But both karlsson and statsny are very good center, just not there with the top on the league.

So are you insinuating that Matthews, Kuzi, and, Backstrom aren't 1st line centers because they don't play on the PK? Karlsson plays the PK, PP, and plays over 19 mins a game. See how your argument is collapsing on itself?

I said can play not have to. Don’t play on word because you won’t win that battle. You are a hockey fan or not ? Sonif you know enough about hockey you know that neither of your center are true number 1. Does that means that there not good players absolutely not. But you don’t call a cat a dog just because he is barking.

So phillip danault is a first line players?

Why do you keep saying "your" I'm not even a Vegas fan... Work on your vocabulary and spelling. "Does that means" "Is a first line players"
Clearly I would win a word game... Both Karlsson and Stastny can play PK, PP, ect so I still don't know what your argument is. Danault isn't the same caliber as Karlsson and Stastny. Maybe he will be next season. Your arguments are horrible. Next.

So william karlsson who had 56 point last year and 33 this year who finish behind danault in the selke voting is better then danault who had 53 point last year and 31 this year with a worst team. I you pretend have knowledge about hockey. Wow you will probably end up winning a nobel prize someday. Not far from a genius.

He's very passionate and a real buzz-saw when he disagrees with you. I hope you enjoyed his battle with @coga16 under his 50-Point Second Line post. It concerned a Colorado construction and, as I interpret it, was whether Drouin is worth Timmins and a first-round pick.
