Henrikson is just a throw in prospect, but I don't see Montreal willing to give up a 3rd for Forbort

Yeah kings are stuck with the cap hit because it’s a 35+ contract. I like the Nash then Dallas swap from a kings perspective to get a 1st and 2 descent prospects. Hutton might get a 4th. Ryan, LaDue would be happy with anything. Sheary and Thompson aren’t worth much I think Toffoli could get more. And the Campbell trade I like minus the kings pick. Adding Johnsson for Campbell, Hutchinson is not worth anything and Ceci is a salary dump. Not worth much. Clifford I think though is one of those guys teams salivate to get for the playoffs. I think he could get much more then a 4th. And if not I’d keep him. He’s a great teammate, great forechecker, stands up for guys etc. he’s one of those glue guys teams need and from what I’ve heard his teammates worship the guy. I think him being around the kids coming up is worth much much more then a 4th. Overall though not bad and I agree I’d trade all those guys minus cliffy depending on the return. I throw carter in there too. I think you gotta sell now with him he’s having a good year and quick if anyone would bite. But I’d trade Campbell or quick based on the return. Keeping one because next year Peterson would have to clear waivers So he’s on the team so one of the others has to be moved eventually.

Why Henrikson? He will never even get an AHL contract. Also the habs aren’t really that interested in Forbort.

But it’s not like he has a contract, so the only difference it makes is the 70 player limit, which isn’t a problem for any team.

I think Hutton for a 5th seems like a good depth move for Wsh.
