Every Buffalo fans wants to trade Ristolainen but also want a return as if he was a top pair defenceman. I'd say there is a clear reason why everyone of you guys want to move him. And it isn't because of how good he is.

I just know the Leafs' needs. And Risto ain't one of them

Leafs lose this trade. Two NHLer for one. Rather have the current guys for this year, and the cap space for next year.
I kinda think Risto would show better on a good team. But the difference between Risto and Ceci isn't Kapanen.....except on CapFriendly that seem to think Ceci is so bad...which ain't true.

I don't want to move him at all. The people that want to move him are the ones who are ok with meh returns and the people who actually see his value and don't want to trade him (because we honestly don't have to) want a good return and not just Kapanen + crap

Sabres can't afford to bring a starting defenseman back in the trade. Drop Ceci and add a 4th instead.

I hate to break it to you but his value isn't very high. He has a lot of offensive skills but defensively he really struggles. I doubt you'll get much of a return for him. At least not nearly as much as you'd want.

Not breaking anything to me at all, you have to watch him to appreciate his value which you clearly don't. No sense in continuing, no opinions will be changed

I don't watch that many Sabres games I'll admit, however when I have seen him, he's never impressed me. I think he's a guy that has value if he's used properly, he seems like a great guy to have on the bottom pair and PP. Protect him from facing top talent and he'll contribute nicely, but beyond that he has too many flaws in his game.

Why would the leafs give kapanen and and 2nd rounder for a bottom 3 defenseman... If the sabres want Ceci, I'm fine with it... But this is a terrible Trade... The leafs decline without a dought
