There’s no trade?

Byram and a first, non negotiable. Mantha is not a player you get with Quantity, you need to send back Quality.
Don't get me wrong, I like Jost and Timmins, but Mo is key to our rebuild. We need something back that is just as key if not more key due to bust risk.

Byram AND a first??? Never happening.

Fine because you're surely not getting Mantha for your offer, Byram is either in the deal or no dice. Mantha will be extremely expensive for any team to acquire. And your offer doesn't cut it.

Yzerman
at that offer and blocks Sakics number.

but Byram for Mantha would've probably the factor that would start the trade negotiation. If Mantha gets traded, it'll be similar to the Seth Jones for Ryan Johansen trade. If Sakic doesn't consider trading Byram to get Mantha, Yzerman will probably cancel the trade talk.

Mantha stock is sky high right now. I think he could be a 40G scorer at some point. I don't see him going anywhere unless a young, future #1 D is going to the Wings. I.e Byrum.

Who'd Sakic rather get: Hall at the deadline plus a guaranteed extension, or Mantha as a pending RFA?
Quoting: EzioUchiha
Hall would probably be the ideal choice. Despite the fact Hall just won the Hart, he doesn't have much value even in a sign-and-trade. No one will even give up an A++ prospect for Taylor in a 1 for 1 trade because NDJ doesn't have the leverage. (unlike DET) Based on the Mark Stone trade, Newhook, 1st and a roster play for cap dump will be more than enough for a sign-and-trade.
I'm pretty sure you guys are looking for this Mantha.
The Mantha this trade gets the Avs.
Detroit isn't trading the other Mantha.
