By issues do you mean backup goalie, ceci and babcock because you did not address any of them. It would be nice to have dumba but they dont need him

Sorry Jack ... was just editing and it published. Lol! And, Yes, agree we need to address: Backup; Blueline; Neutral Zone Control - all within Cap constraints. Argh!

Like them all but, sadly, had to put them all up on waivers to secure a top 4 RHD within current CAP constraints. Minnesota and LA are both candidates for long term rebuild...and, given aspirations to be a contender, Leafs present an ideal trading partner.

Minnesota won't be looking at offers for Dumba unless they start with something very inciting. For Toronto I would imagine that either Nylander or a first would be the key asset going the other way.

All of the assets being proposed are Grade A...and painfully given up. Hyman is a tenacious 20-goal scorer ...and both Bracco and Lily are prime youth talent on cusp of entering NHL with solid AHL experience (I.e.Bracco stood #2 in total pts last year...and Lily is currently playing Top Pair on Division leading Marlies). Wild's rebuild will takes 3-4 years time "minimum". Ask, Will Dumba be injury-free and playing at same level then?

yeah but dumba is a stud 25 year old RHD, its gonna take either a very highly touted prospect (not 2 mid-level ones). you're really not giving them an enticing reason to bite on this

You do know how terrible kasikuso is right?

Also having a 20 man roster is a terrible idea

Finally it isn't enough for Dumba. Hyman is useful but he's worth at MOST a second. Bracco is a good prospect but flawed. Let's say a 2nd too. Let's say liljegren is worth what we paid. A mid 1st.

So a mid first and two 2nds is good value but it isn't enough for Dumba.

Can't disagree with your assessment - except for Kaskisuo. Are you a Marlies season ticket-holder? Alternately, do you know Sheldon? If so, you wouldn't have made that statement. Need I elaborate on specific games this year/end of last?
Above said, my proposal is an 'opening offer'. There is no baggage attached to it - which in itself telegraphs a message to Guerin.

Bingo! Typical quantity doesn't equal quality.
