to bad everything after that pick changes. No idea if Carlo is still there at the Bruins next pick, no idea if they end up in a position to draft McAvoy the following year....no idea if those 3 guys you drafted would have been as good in Boston. The list goes on and on....

Exactly! You can say these things about EVERY SINGLE DRAFT... How about the 30 teams that passed on Jamie Benn for like 5 rounds lol.... The only Valid one here and EVER is Barzal being taken over Senyshyn. Zboril and Debrusk were projected right around the 15-20 range and so was Barzal, Senyshyn was projected in the 40 -50 range so there was no reason to go OFF THE BOARD for him, they should have just taken Barzal. Again, bruins management did NOT mess up by taking Debrusk and Zboril (that is hindsight), Senyshyn was a bad pick.

OH AND BY THE WAY: Carlo is already better than a number of the guys he was picked after (including Zboril) so clearly the bruins didn't mess up that pick, IN FACT it was a great pick!

If the Hurricanes weren't run by idiots they would have taken Vrana, Tuch, Larkin, Pastrnak, Nick Schmaltz, Travis Sanheim, William Nylander or Nikolai Ehlers over Haydn Fleury in 2014, but because they're run by idiots...

By the way, you talk about the Bruins being run by idiots, Hurricanes took Hanifin over Rantanen, Provorov, Meier, DeBrusk, and all the guys you mentioned. This post has no more purpose.

Lol Literally... the top 5 players to come out of the 2014 draft are Pasta, Point, Drai, Larkin and Ekblad (not necessarily In that orderly) ... that means Every team except for the Bruins, Lightning, and Red wings really messed up (and Florida and Edmonton took the right player given their position)
