Dubas won’t push his prospects if they aren’t ready. It would be nice if it worked out but I would rather see both Lilly and Sandin playing 20+ top minutes in the ahl than 8-10 minutes in the nhl. Sandin isn’t as necessary this year and is still a slide candidate. Call him up at the end of the season after he develops some more.

Not a Leafs fan but I really wonder if Aberg will make the team, if he gets a chance with some of the Leafs skilled players it might work well, he's seemed to put up okay numbers in small sample sizes in the past, he doesn't really fit the mold of a player Babcock would like though so he's probably a Marlie, same goes for Petan... Lol

Harpur, Marincin, Holl Schmaltz might be better Leaf candidates October 1 than Sandin and Liljegren.

The original narrative "threaten to trade Marner". Don't threaten especially when you don't have a trade lined up. And I doubt if teams are willing to trade for an unsigned Marner.

But if they're ready, then they're ready and should play. I don't see how age should factor into that. And in the case of Bracco he's not even that young. With Hyman on the shelf I hope he gets an honest look to see what he is

I think last year they played big minutes for the Marlies. If they can't handle it send them back. But if they can get 10-12 minutes a night against better opponents is that not better? And no I do not own a Viper lol.
