3. Bratt is entirely to high, Hischier on the other hand is not. Seeing how Kevin Hayes just got 7.13 from the Flyers if Nico can put up 60 points playing solid defensively which he has shown he can he could absolutely get 7+ per year.

I think 7.25 is at this point a solid number for an eventual 2nd line center if Hughes is the real deal. At 7.25 per year its roughly 8.3% of a teams cap per a 81.5 salary capped season.

Regardless of the contract being bad or not Hischier might be a better player now then Hayes and certainly will be in the next 4-6 years. 7.25 is quite modest if we are looking at a 60+ point player which his projections certainly show he can be.
