Its dallas's pick nit Ott and frankly they should if cgy is pawning him off that easily. They could easily trade him for more at the tdl.

That may be good idea for Ottawa...getting good players cheap for flipping later. Might be able to get some players like Brodie or some Rangers even cheaper if teams are so cap strapped.
Would't be awful for Ottawa getting some good players for few months but it put them over the edge...now they draft fifth overall instead in the top three. Though Ottawa seems to look really bad this year.

I like Brodie but he's not good enough to pull Ottawa out of the trashcan this year.

Two years ago they Karlsson, Stone and Duchene....and did poorly. Last year Stone and Duchene most of the year and did even worse. Just shows, it take a team...lots of good player needed to make team.
I must say, Ottawa has some young players and lots of upcoming picks. They could be OK even good. For Ottawa fans hoping Melnyk and Dorion don't mess it up.
