Mode - plafond salarial: Basique

Description

Leafs could use the Depth on C and Jankowski would be perfect. Calgary is paying Ryan already as a 3C at 3+ mil. With Monahan and Backlund they are pretty deep at C. They need RW and although Hyman played LW he’s a righty and likely can play RW. Bracco has some RW upside. Calgary has done well with smaller players with loads of skill. Gauthier gives Calgary a big C to slot in at 4C.

If Honka is available he may be worth giving a shot.

I added to these trades to get it done. Hyman for jankowski would help the leafs at C and help Calgary on the wing. I think jankowski has lots of value even though he’s only manages to produce sub 40pt seasons. Locking him in for 3m x 4years would work well. Honka is a wild card. Not sure what value he has.

Gotta think the Leafs are putting Kerfoot at centre.....we'll see if that's that's his best position. Honda if he's an NHLer, it takes more than two minor leaguers to get him.

Leafs have 7 nhl centres counting petan and gauthier. I don’t see why we would want anymore. Now if jankowski can okay RD.... then let’s do it.

Yep and Leafs will have trouble finding a player like Hyman on a good deal when Hyman hits UFA status.

I don't know how long Hyman can continue his style of play. When those legs slow down, his play will decline considerably. I'm not saying Hyman should take a hometown discount, but he a wealthy guy with his family businesses and his own business. Maybe money as a UFA won't be big factor. PS. I've always been a big Hyman supporter.

I also really like hymans game. And he does forecheck well and protects the puck very well. He adds an physical element that the leafs need. I just think I’d sell high on him. He had a great year. Jankowski is 24 6’4 skilled C that might resign for around 3m. I think this helps the team more.

Leafs C depth after the top 2 is Goat IF Kerfoot is better suited for W

I love Hyman. But he’s the most expendable player with value. Kerfoot Johnsson Moore etc is fine for LW depth
