No thanks on Marner if it costs us Dumba (which it would). He'd likely be a 70p winger on the Wild compared to a 90-100p in Toronto and I think we'd have to pay him more like $12M than $11M. I like Dumba at 6 way more than Marner at 12.

I'm paraphrasing you here, but you said Spurgeon would be the 4th best defenseman on the Leafs and that he's not good defensively (ie. not good). You based your opinion off of meaningless data, which is why I don't think people should waste their time arguing with you about players value. It's not about disagreeing with me. Plenty of people disagree with me on here and I respect their opinion, but I don't respect an opinion that is based off meaningless data.

Yes I said he's statistically be the 4th best on the Leafs and that he's not that good at defence. Never once said that he's not good. Tons of players are good but aren't good in a certain area.

I wasn't referring to a late 1st round pick. I was referring to Leaf fans posting stupid trades like Bracco and a 4th or other random Leafs prospects that may or may not even ever make it to the NHL. After Marleau was traded, it's safe to ignore most of Leaf fan's value assessments on their players.
