You would need a lot more than just Zucker, Spurgeon and kaprizov. Laine himself should yield a star in return so for him and trouba, it would take a lot. I just don't see the jets making this trade in anyway as its in their own division.

You'd probably have to swap Spurgeon for Dumba and then add Kaprizov. At that point it's a dumb trade for the Wild but that's probably what it's cost.

Yeah, I agree any hypothetical Laine trade involves Dumba which immediately makes it a trade I'd hate. Keep Dumba and hope guys like Fiala, Donato, and Kaprizov become the goal scorers the Wild desperately need with Dumba helping create offense from the blue line.

Guys, guys, guys...I asked the question, “plus what else?” in an effort to start a conversation. Plus, age aside, I wouldn’t trade Spurgeon straight up for Trouba. We can argue for days who the better player is (I think it’s Spurgeon, but it’s close) but Spurgeon comes with a LOT less drama... Plus, do we really know how good Laine is??? Once the NHL has a year to figure him out, he went from a super star to a star player... just fodder for conversation and thinking...
