I think this season was a fluke for Neal but I also think he might repeat it if he stays in Calgary. He had an abysmal season on a good Flames team, the Flames could use the cap space and he was scratched in an elimination game. Doesn't matter if he's "great in the locker room", the end is nigh.

I agree with moving brodie and janko.. but maybe a little undersell for janko? pretty decent young PK center for only a 4th would hope a B prospect comes back with that

You could get more for Brodie and Jankowski.

Janko has a lot of holes, his PK isn't great but the goals really hid that this year, I think that every goal in the playoffs he was literally facing the wrong way. Teams will notice that, I think that a 3rd for him is a great return, a 4th is okay.

A 4th is essentially useless - so you are giving away Janko for essentially nothing. Not sure what the point of that is.

I mean tell that to Feaster when he drafted Gaudreau.. We just signed Pospisil who was our 4th round pick, Drake Batherson in Ottawa was only drafted two years ago nearly in the 5th round, Adam Brooks, Victor Mete, Arviddson, Heinen, Devon Toews, The amount of guys taken in the fourth round that I would take over Jankowski is endless.

Colin Wilson who just smoked us in the playoffs was traded for a 4th, Brassard for a player and a 4th. An asset is an asset, none of which are essentially useless and the way that this scouting staff nails their picks I would give them as many lottery tickets as possible. Jankowski is not good, he is a bad center who scored on the PP enough to mask holes in his game, At no point would I consider him worth more than a high 4th round pick.
