i think a 2 year rebuld will be the best option. take the bite and buyout sekera and anyone else thats useless. a guy like jordan weal in mtl would realy help the oilers bottom 6. build through the draft. draft high 2 season. you should be good

It's not the draft picks that are the problem. If it was the high draft picks they traded away would be just as bad on other teams. Part of it is player management bring prospects along to fast when they aren't ready or letting players sit in the minors too long. The other part is trying speed up the process by trading picks and prospects for veteran players way to soon. Rebuilding takes time.

thats why u need better management. you need character and leadership. bergevin said that last year and ppl made fun of him, but look how well the team played this year. u need a pure leader. vocal guy. u need leadership in management. hire a guy like ken holland as president and have kieth gretzky as gm to learn under him. holland knows how to establish new culture and has winning pedigree. hire hunter as lead in the scoutning dept.
