You've got wrong target for that Kreider deal. DET is a rebuilding team, just like NYR is. They won't be moving high picks for pending UFAs.

Also VGK is already in cap problems. They can't afford to take on more salary.

Rest of the moves are pretty good imo.

Didn’t realize Vegas was that close, but I only did the Detroit one because they have a lot of defensive prospects and they’re headed in the right direction. Larkin, Zadina, Veleno bergman (however it’s spelt) are gonna be a good core just thought that Kreider could protect as well as be a veteran and bring a power forward player to their lineup that they’re lacking.

Kreider could be useful for them but there's too big of a risk that he'd just walk at the end of the season. And if he does they'd lose a high first + Hronek for free.

Wings in rebuild mode and not looking to invest a veteran who could walk or cost big money. Right now the best thing the Wings could do is stay the course, get rid of bad contracts and bring in new cost controlled players up to the big leagues.

Hronek is a promising RHD who is cost controlled for years. They also have several good prospects in the pipeline but right now this is not the kind of trade a team that is rebuilding makes.

Detroit problem is age not toughness. Detroit started to sit some of the older players to give some prospects some ice time and Detroit goes 8-2.

Yes Detroit has several D prospects and Hronek is the best one and won't be traded along with Cholowski and Bowey. I think Detroit would be open to offers on the rest of them. Now guys like McIsaac and Lindstrom have a lot of potential would be on the expensive side.

Kreider is a very good player but giving up a prospect and a 1st is too much for Detroit to spend on 27yr old winger. Plus I doubt Detroit is going to be a true contender by the end of next season and Kreider will most likely leave for team the is. I do think Kreider is worth more than prospect and a 1st its just more than I feel Detroit can give up.

Like Burgerboss said Detroit and NYR are rebuilding and will be looking for the same type of players and looking to move the same type of players. So working out a trade the works for both teams would very unlikely.

Can't see the Habs trading Drouin for a guy like Skjei. I would imagine they would want someone who can prove they can hang in a teams top 4.

Why are you moving Skjei? He's literally your only good left handed d-man. Keep him. Drouin hasn't shown the ability to stay consistent at all.

Trouba deal is close. But up that pick going to Winnipeg to a 2nd minimum. Especially if Trouba signs long term as part of the deal.

Edmonton isn't taking that deal. Day is a long shot to make the NHL, Namestikov isn't the winger they need, & it's selling pretty low on Puljujarvi (his value isn't the greatest but best to rebuild it then move him)

Detroit isn't gonna target Krieder when they're rebuilding. You can get that price for him, but wrong type of team

Trouba isn't signing long term with the Rangers, And Detroit says hell no Filip Hronek is going to be a stud.
