Sens and Bruins decline pretty quickly. Sens can get more selling each one off separately. Krug>Muzzin, 2 stiffs does not make up the difference.

What do Flyers need Campbell for with Hart there? Still should take it but they will look around for better option.

Brickley isn't trade able. You ship off a college free agent after 1 year and that will be the last well sought after college free agent you will ever sign.

this is not necessarily on you, but i keep seeing people trading clifford for smith pelly and its absolutely not happening and i dont understand why people A. think its a good trade B. the reasoning behind it. theres 2 problems with it:

1. Kings will never trade Clifford. Hes been on the big club since he was 19 and hes still only 27 right now. They drafted him because his attitude and motor are what they wanted to see out of every player on their team. you would be hard pressed to find a 4th liner that an NHL team values more than the Kings and Clifford.

2nd. If they were to trade clifford it would be for something that any GM would be fired for (ex. a top line winger for cliffy and a 4th rounder which would never happen). Clifford would never be traded for a bottom 6 winger ESPECIALLY when Clifford is better than Smith-Pelly. Hes better in just about every aspect of the game so why would you want to get worse? The Kings dont need to shed 600k that badly.

Again, its not necessarily your fault as many people on here saw whoever posted it first and used it too. Bottom line, he aint going anywhere anyone close to the Kings will tell you that

Isn't Hart projected to be a starter? Jack Campbell can be a solid backup.

Bruins need defense and Muzzin alone is an upgrade. One of the most underrated shut down defenders in the league and Fantenberg is a solid #6 dman who can play the right side too.

I'm pretty sure I started it and I understand where you are coming from, however, my reasoning for Smith-Pelly is because he is a playoff player. His magic comes in the playoffs. You're going to get physicality and responsibility with him all season long just like Clifford. He's a grinder, I love his game. I love Clifford too, but maybe trading Clifford is what it's going to take to shake up and wake up the Kings and get our top players off their high horses and realize if they don't start performing they are going to get traded too.

Lol, The Bruins don’t need defense. They have given up the fewest goals in the league despite using 11 defenseman due to Injuries. Fantenberg would not even make the team. They need Krugs offense from the backend. You obviously don’t know the Bruins well so listen to those who do. If Krug were to be traded it would be for a RW, a center, or picks. They are loaded on defense. The target in LA would be Toffoli or Carter. Fantenberg and Scherbak don’t make the team and are placed on waivers. Fantenberg clears is sent to minors where he plays out his contract and moves on likely never playing for B’s. Scherbak is claimed and is lost. So the trade is Krug for Muzzin. Same age, same term, both left shots. Krug > Muzzin. What he brings is far move valuable to the B’s than the mininmal cap space gained. Krug/Heinen for Muzzin/Toffoli/pick. Maybe you get them to the table.

Hart is projected to be the starter so they will bring in a veteran to back him up and act as a mentor.
