With all your D healthy, it’s a tossup between Carlo and Moore. Grzelcyk is top 6 now. Before someone gets mad they are both young and show promise. Since Boston isn’t going to trade MacAvoy or Krug. Carlo and Grzelcyk would be the next 2 on my list.

Gryzleck is not top 4. That’s a good one.

Boston would move Krug in the right deal. They'll have a tough time keeping him when his contract expires after next year.

I think of all the names that are rumored to be available or they have been linked to, Jeff Carter makes the most sense. He’s RH, can play center or RW, still productive enough to play top 6. Reasonable cap hit. Has term. No NMC or NTC. Last couple years of his contract his actual salary is only 2m so he will be movable if need be.

Injuries suck but it also gives other players a chance to play and I think Carlo is going to be really good maybe not as good as McAvoy but still very good. Defense is tough especially now your expected to join the rush and contribute offensively without sacrificing defense.

I'd rather keep the players you've traded and move Krug instead because he'll get a deal he's not worth if his agent is any good given the offensive numbers he puts up. I'd be surprised if Krug takes 6M or so which is a slight raise that he'd be worth.

Oh 100% Carlo with never be a McAvoy, but their old two different types of players. Carlo is more of a pure shutdown d-man where as McAvoy is more of that two-way type d-man. If you combined Carlo and Krug, you'd get a skill set of McAvoy.

What makes you think Krug won’t be traded?

Just because a player isn’t top four or top two on one team doesn’t mean he isn’t that in the league. Is tavares not a top line center? Or course he is, there’s just someone else really good on the roster.

No I see quite a few Bruins games. Maybe you should re read my post. I just said Carlo a toss up with Moore for top 4. I never said either were bad in fact in my conversation with ON3M4N

When I said Krug wasn't available I meant for this trade because putting Krug in that trade it would knock out most of the players out of that trade.

You shouldn't take it so personal. It's for fun and a chance to learn more about other teams from their fans. It's not like these trades are really going to happen.

Oh I’m not taking anything personal, I just didn’t understand it. It seems like the bruins staff aren’t willing to play Moore on the right side as of yet. That might change when chara is healthy, but as of now Moore and Carlo aren’t competing for anything.

I apologize for the accusation. That makes sense since one shoots left and one shoots right. Good right handed shots are hard to come by. Now the question is Right hand shot Defensemen worth more that a lefty and if so would Boston want to trade one of two righties? (Kampfer is a righty as well).
