Why do think Dubas is a dumbass? The Leafs have the right not to sign Nylander to a contract they don't like, just like it is the right of Nylander not to sign he doesn't like. But what is really dumbass is not suggesting the contract that (in this case the Canes) will sign Nylander to. No use trading for a guy when that team won't sign him either. Also a brutal trade for the Leafs.
