You're coming across as a big time homer there boss. I appreciate that you like Parayko but he isn't the best RHD on a lot of teams. Karlsson, Doughty, Seth Jones, PK Subban etc. There are a lot of guys who are at or above Parayko. He would be the number 1 d on several teams but he's a step below the elite guys.

He is a top line minute guy tho. its gonna take a lot more than a mid tier prospect and a 2nd Pairing Dman who can't play defense anyway that is a rental. you get what im saying?

Well you know my opinion on a trade between St Louis and Toronto, its just not going to happen without one of fan bases being really pissed. Either St Louis loses a player for a diminished return, or TO sends too much for an upgrade on the D but they'll damage their overall depth way too much to get it. A potential trade at this time just doesn't make sense for either teams.

That being said, if you are going to say that your 2nd pair RHD is a top line guy anywhere else, you better have the best RHD in the league ahead of him and you don't. Pietrangelo is a stud, no question about it. Top 5 RHD likely, but he's definitely better than Parayko. Parayko is the top D man on several teams and likely is top pairing on half of the teams but he's not the top on any other team.

Gardiner isn't the top D man on almost every team in the league. He isn't even in the top 2 pairings on some teams. He would be the best defenceman in Vancouver or maybe Montreal and Detroit but that's about it, and those defenses are terrible. Rielly isn't even the top d guy on a lot of teams and he's way better than Gardiner. Lets all take a deep breath and be rational and reasonable.

For a guy that's posted 4 troll trades lately, you're getting pretty worked up...The thing about armchair-gm, and most other trade forums in professional sports is that 99% of people overvalue their players/prospects. You are definitely included. Instead of trying to troll everyone, why don't you post a trade where you express your opinion on his actual value.

Here's my offer- Parayko for Nylander. You're going to say it's too low, I'm going to say if anything, it's high, and then we're going to continue making dumb trade threads, and commenting on them because it's entertaining.

You guys over estimate what Gardiner is if you don’t like him you just want to pawn him off on someone else and get a guy you like. You understand. Face Value I’m not overvalue. I’m valuing him on Market Value

No you aren't as a rental he can fetch a high end prospect and a 1st round pick. Like I have said multiple times, you know nothing about hockey. Just stick to watching and let the big boys talk.
