A rumor you made up. Habs have said they have no interest in Lucic. And Oilers have even less interest in this deal.

It's only a rumour on this site and I suppose other trades sights. Is there logic to the these NMC Lucic to Montreal at all.

Hockeybuzz.com reported the Oilers and Habs are talking again about Lucic. I do not put much into anything they report. But figured I'd look at a logical trade for the Habs if it was true.

Just so you know, Eklund and company (hockeybuzz) have not been the most reliable when it comes to rumors.

It's no secret that the Habs were in the running to sign him as a FA and with Julien there i could see him accepting a trade. Saying thag PC will do it as a hockey trade otherwise it will hurt the team. He is not washed up...and will biunce back to his 50 55 point production for the next 2 years min (after that...eek).

I could see a lucic for shaw deal of some sort with other variables. Before the draft i would have seen an Alzner deal as well.
