While I don't agree on all of these, I commend your detail and effort. Seriously dude, this is dope. Nurse for Nylander seems a little lop-sided (I think Nylander is worth more because he is more proven, while Nurse does have a bunch of upside). Vancouver I also disagree with....I'd much rather have Nylander than Gudbranson and Tanev. They don't really produce points which I think stifles their all round game. Hanifin for Nylander is one that I think is really interesting and mirrors that Jones for Johansen trade.

Nylanders does not get you Provorov.

Awesome stuff. Value wise, Jets would be alllll over this I have to think. If Nylander is going to command a contract over 6.5 a year though, not sure it would work. Gotta think they would still go for it though and would be pretty amazing to add another young star to that forward group. Could always trade him after 1 year of putting up big numbers to make cap room for the other guys they would have to sign.

I only agree with a couple of these, in saying that, what bothers me most is the extensions for Doughty and Karlsson. Unless they both have a terrible seasons in 2018-19, they will both command 10 million +

Even though I think Philly would say no because Provorov is looking like a future Norris winner, I gotta give props for not doing some horrible trade. Like most people would have been biased and done something Like Provorov and Patrick for Nylander and like Kapanen or something like that. At least you knew who had to add

Jets agree, hang up the phone, cut the phone cord, cancel their cellphone plan, smash their router and disable their email, shoot any and all messenger pigeons, and send an extraction team to bring Nylander to Winnipeg before Shanahan and Dubas could change their minds. That's not hyperbole. That would literally happen if you offered them that trade.

P.S. That's not to say Myers is overrated. If anything, he is underrated, but young top 6 pieces don't fall into teams' laps and especially not for players that are being actively shopped.

Almost all of those trades are terrible for the Leafs. Especially the 1 for 1 trades for guys like Hamilton. If Nylanders draft year was redone, he'd likely go 4th overall. Ekblad, Pastrnak and Draisaitl are the only ones you can argue have been better than Nylander. And yet people want to trade him for almost any RHD defenceman. Your Vancouver trade could be the worst. Tanev, Gudbranson and their 1st still isn't enough for Nylander. Mainly cause you have to take Gudbranson who has 4 years at 3.5 million ahead of him and he's an AHL defenceman.

Don't trade Nylander, its not needed.
