Flip Ryan and Zadina in the lineup... Top 6 forwards then play 50+ minutes a night and Chabot-Karlsson play 55+ mins a night because the other 4 defenseman are absolute garbage (Claesson plays borderline 7th D minutes, Boro is slow as molasses - can hit like a truck though, Ceci is Jake Gardiner without any offensive capabilities making him a total liability, and Pokka/Harpur are also 7th D guys like Claesson... only one I see with some potential is Pokka... the team will be perfectly fine if Anderson plays like in did 2 years ago... other than that, this team is a lottery pick again... (can they defer the 2019 1st to 2025? Please?)

For my money, I would be flipping either Hoffman or Stone for a legit 2nd line centre and some other goodies (depending on what said centre looks like). We know Dorion has had eyes on Nugent-Hopkins. Maybe Sam Bennett and some of those defensemen Treveling is hoarding?

Pageau for me just isn't a 2nd liner, and White will not develop playing on the 4th line. Pageau needs to be on the 3rd line, move White to the wing and get a centre - more balanced, better development. Speaking of which..... no Logan Brown?

The blueline has some potential, but needs time to develop. I'd be suggesting a vet puck mover to bridge it, since EK67 is all but gone......

My point is although Melnyk is cheap and an idiot, it doesn't mean with some work the Sens can't ice something resembling a decent team.

I agree with everything except flipping Hoffman or Stone, I’d rather shed cap in other areas and work on signing a veteran center who can play 2nd line minutes but performs less offensively, Stone is our best forward and Hoffman has amazing chemistry with Duchene, can’t break them apart if you wanna build a dynamic squad.

Ceci has value to other franchises, so just resign him then trade him, please?? A lot of GMs see him as a top 4 Dman somehow. In terms of ice time sure... I guess lol, but we could probably get Wideman much cheaper on say a 2 year deal than Ceci would be. Maybe Jaros can make the jump but I could see him playing one more year in Belleville. Arizona could use a RHD, maybe get one of their younger forwards from the roster. I'm pretty scared for this offseason. I hope it doesn't destroy my loyalty to the team
