The Blues apparently offered Kyrou + pick for Hoffman and Dorion obviously wanted more. The offer here for Kane is probably more accurate, just not sure if the Blues are dead-set on paying up for a rental. I doubt the Blues would try to re-sign Kane, so the conditional pick isn't too important... and I'd rather make the cap work by sending Gunnarsson than Sobotka though. Sobotka is a valuable middle six guy.

So it would be Kyrou + 2019 1st + Gunny for Kane @ 50%. Blues seem to be keeping their prospects close to the chest though. I wonder if anything would happen in the next month or so that would change their minds?

As much as any GM would want 4 pieces for a UFA winger, I can't really see it being more than the initial 'outlandish' ask.

There is no chance the Flames consider moving Ferland (Not to mention at 1.75 for another year) in a deal for Kane. Ferland has more goals than Kane currently and has done so over the last year, fits like a glove in Calgary with John and Sean..... let alone adding a 1st no chance...

Could see Dube+1st+Something but to ask for Ferland+a 1st+Dube is really insane......

Edit: Could also see Calgary making a deal for Reinhart before they pursue Kane, as I dont think we have the Cap to hold onto him long term, Tkachuk, Ferland, Jankowski, Bennett are going to cost us some coin.
Adding a guy like Kane who has such a larger personality would be a huge risk to the chemistry within our locker room.
